The 5 Baby Apps I Use Daily

Living in the Information Age is a blessing and a curse, in my opinion. Especially as a new mom. I mean, it’s great that I can google just about anything and find at least 9373663 forums of other moms with the same question but all the information can bring on a whole lot of stress and anxiety. I have found that I have to limit the amount of information I take in about being a new mom and my baby. I wanted to share the apps I have been using and why.

Huckleberry

I use this app to track everything. Her feedings, sleep, and my pump sessions. I could track more like her diapers and temperature and medicine. I tried a few other apps before I landed on Huckleberry. They even have a feature that you can pay for where sleep experts help you learn about the best sleep times for your baby according to their schedule and such.

The Wonder Weeks

This app is fun to have and check even now and then. It will explain the developmental leaps your baby will go through and when they will usually happen. So, if your baby is acting way different, it could be because they are going through a leap. Fascinating stuff! There is also a book!

Owlet

You obviously would only want this app if you have the Owlet sock product. But I do love that you want track her sleep in this app. It will tell you when she is awake, in light sleep, and in deep sleep. You can also see her heart rate and oxygen level in real time which is very comforting!

Hatch Sleep

This app goes along with the Hatch sound machine we have. It is very cool, you can adjust the volume and sound option, Brinley likes the falling rain. You can also control the color and brightness of the nightlight feature all from the app. You can set up a schedule for it as well as set timers.

White Noise

This app comes in handy when on the go. I have used it several times in the car when she is fighting sleep. White noise is the last resort option we use when trying to get her to sleep. We always have noise in our home so that is what she is used to when she sleeps.

I am sure there are other great apps out there but these are the ones that I have really helped me so far! If you have any favorites that are not listed feel free the share them in the comments!
