Mom’s Spring Break 2019

For the last couple of years, my mom has spent a few days of her spring break here in South Carolina at our house! We have made the best memories with her during these weeks! This year was especially fun! We ate the best food, tried new things and watched the craziest documentary together!

Day One

Mom is no stranger to Byrnes Baseball. Josh is the announcer and I keep the scoreboard and we have so much fun every game! This is the first full game mom has been a part of! She commentated, cheered, and froze her butt off with us!

Byrnes won big!!

Day Two

I had to work a half day ( boo), but then we headed off for lunch at Zoe’s Kitchen (one of my all time fav places to eat!) and had an amazing salad!! We talked about anything and everything, you know those great conversations you can only have with your mom! And it just so happened that Traders Joes was within walking distance. Hehe! We walked the aisles slowly and found all the treasures!

Next stop was Target for essentials and then on to World Market, another one of moms favorites! I got the cutest earrings for $5 that you will be seeing soon! We headed back to the house for a quick workout and then off to dinner at one of our new favorites, Rapid Fired.

When we got home we wanted to watch a movie and we all know how long it can take to decide on what to watch on Netflix but Josh had heard about this crazy Documentary called Free Solo. If you get a chance ( and don’t have bad anxiety) I would definitely reccommend this film! It is intense, so interesting and overall very entertaining!

Day Three

Had to work all day, but mom got to enjoy the beautiful South Carolina sun and finished her guest blog post (be on the look out for that!). This evening was probably the highlight of her stay ( in my eyes). We first met up with my M-I-L Kathy and my S-I-L Ashley and we went to Hampton Station in Greenville. We had THE BEST tacos for dinner at The White Duck Taco Shop and then went to Craft Axe Throwing to get our badass on!!!! We had the best time!!!!

It was the cutest area! There was a brewery next store and a nice green space to enjoy the weather! We will definitely be going back here!!

To top a wonderful night off Purdue Basketball moved on to the Elite Eight and basically, my whole family decided that we are all meeting in Louisville on Saturday for the game!! So I will be sharing that adventure next week after we get back! We may be sleep deprived by living spontaneously but it is so worth it! See ya later friends!

XOXO
