Y’all, I am so excited about this post! This year, I hosted my very first Friendsgiving and it was everything I dreamed it would be! Although Josh was sad he was kicked out of the house on a football Saturday, he knew that this would be my last chance to host a Friendsgiving before little G arrives so he was a good sport. I was going to go all out and decorate major and make all of the things but then I remembered I would be 33 weeks pregnant and the smallest amount of steps in general about knock me on my butt haha. So I toned it down a bit and reminded myself of the whole point of this get-together!
First, we went with the potluck style! One big reason was so that I wouldn’t have to slave away in the kitchen by myself but also because I am friends with some very talented people! It would be less prep and way more fun to enjoy everyone’s yummy creations! I made a ham, not a turkey because I am allergic. I also made some yummy Thanksgiving sangria, and a charcuterie board for us all to enjoy! Everything was so freaking yummy! Check out a few shots I got from the night!

Needless to say, we all had the best time chatting and eating yummy food! This year especially, fellowship is so important! We are a communal people by nature! I am so blessed to have sweet friends in my life!
Have you ever hosted a Friendsgiving? What is your favorite part of the event?
Last year at this time, my dad and sister came down and we built a fence in like 4 days in our back yard! It was a lot of hard work but so much fun!
