I can’t believe it is already time to head south to Disney World!! I am like a little kid in a candy shop just dreaming of how magical this trip is going to be! It is most certainly going to be blazing hot though. So I had to be smart about what I’m packing! Today I am sharing some of my essential things in my suitcase!
The Essentials
When it comes to the clothes I am packing, I am going to wear the smartest choice over the most fashionable choice. We are going for fun and comfort on this trip so I have to dress the part! My mom has matching shirts for us on one of the days and I am fully embracing that!! The other days I am going to wear tanks, biker shorts/running shorts, and tennis shoes!
My next important item is my fanny pack! Between the 5 of us going, someone will be carrying a backpack but I will also be wearing my fanny pack for a couple of reasons: easy access to debit cards/phone/sunscreen/hand sanitizer, etc! Also, I will not have any pockets so this will help big time!
A refillable water bottle is another must in my bag for this trip! I have read everywhere that you can easily refill your water bottle all over the parks for free! And considering how hot it is going to be, this will be vital to us having a great day! We will also have Liquid IV electrolyte packets with us as well to help keep us hydrated! These things are game changers and you can get them at your local Costco!
Ponchos for unexpected rain showers, band-aids for blisters, handheld fan for waiting in lines and hand sanitizer because of germs! All things I can fit in my fanny pack!
Enough said.
Sunglasses! You all know what pair I am bringing with me! My Shady Rays of course!! I am confident in bringing my favorite and best pair because I know that if anything happens to them, Shady Rays has my back and will replace them for free! Check out this blog post to get $15 off a pair of your own!
Keep an eye out for our post Disney World Vacation post in a couple weeks! I am going to share all the things we did right and the things we learned along the way! In the mean time, I hope you have a magical day!

Thanks so much!! Yeah I literally got blisters on both of my heals last weekend so I knew I was going to need them lol.
Fanny packs are so back in style but they are also so practical!
Yes girl!!! Isn’t it great!!!!
YOU’RE A LIFESAVER!! I’m actually planning a surprise trip to Disney for my family and it will be a first for us all, so I wanted to make sure I packed the right items to get through. Thank you!
Oh I’m so glad I could help!!!

WOW. Lucky you! Have a fun trip. Looks like you’re ready for anything.
This is such an awesome post! So many times I find myself overpacking, or forgetting something. Those going to Disney will benefit from this post!

We are heading to Disney World at the end of the month and these are great items to add to our packing list!
Oh I’m so glad I could help!
Great post! Can’t wait to take my little girl to Disney one day!
Great list! Spot on with the outfit choices and ponchos. I grew up in Orlando and it will most definitely rain everyday around 3 ish 😉 but it cools things off for a minute so as long as you’re prepared it’s kind of a nice break. Have fun!
I am going to Disney in January! Great tips, thank you!
Oh you’ll have the best time!
I would always take a back pack and fill it with snacks, water bottles, sunscreen and hand sanitizer. Those were my go-to! I miss going to Disney all the time. Hopefully I can move back down there and get my Disney fix!
