Smoothie Recipes That Make You Go Yummm

For Christmas, I got a single-serve blender and it has been my favorite item in the kitchen ever since! I have been making smoothie recipes galore, especially with a newborn. It’s an easy way for me to get some nutrients that taste delicious! Here are my favorite recipes recently for healthy smoothies!

#1 Recipe

Green Smoothie

This one is packed with protien and only 270 calories. Makes a great meal replacement.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups spinach or other greens
  • 4 small bananas frozen
  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/4 cups peanut butter
  • 2 cups plain nonfat greek yogurt
  • 4 scoops protein powder optional
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Add the ingredients to your blender in the order listed

This one is my favorite because I am a fan of all things green! Spinach is one of my favorite things on this plant! So of course, I put it in anything I can!

Creamy Blueberry Smoothie

It has all the good stuff!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1-2 scoops protein powder

Instructions
 

  • Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Add more water if needed.

I haven’t always been a big lover of blueberries but when put in a smoothie, I am all for it! SO tasty!

Avocado Dreamsicle Oatmeal Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/2 avocado 3-4 oz.
  • 1 orange peeled
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend for 30-60 seconds until smooth
  • Serve right away or store in an airtight jar in the fridge

I thought this recipe was so fun because of the avocado! I try to put avocados in things whenever I can. Just such a healthy fat!

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt

  • 1/4 cup frozen kale or spinach
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp honey

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.

I love most all berries! Especially strawberries and raspberries! But when paired with peanut butter…….YUM!
