I cannot even believe we are already celebrating our second wedding anniversary today! Time is absolutely flying by. I honestly could not imagine spending my life with anyone else. Josh understands me probably better than I do. In fact, he loves me so well and puts up with my crazy side! Honestly, year 2 has definitely been harder than the 1st year for varies reasons but it has made our bond that much strong!
Here are some highlights from our last year of marriage!
Josh took me to New York City for the Fourth of July (blog series coming soon!) It was the most amazing week! There is nothing like exploring with your best friend! I already can’t wait to go back!
Spent the day playing in Charlotte with cousins before they moved up north!
Tore up the dance floor celebrating some sweet friends!
Took Josh to his second Indiana State Fair!
Celebrated some of our best friends on their special day!
Sweated/froze our butts off through another quite successful Clemson football season!
Boogied all night long celebrating Josh’s step-brother and sister-in-law!
Had countless date nights with this stud!! I’ll never get tired of having fun with him!
Sent out our second Christmas card!!
Picked out our second Christmas tree! Yes, it was slightly taller than last years. haha
Spent a weekend away in Gatlinburg around my birthday!
Had to take our annual Christmas pajamas picture while up north!
Rang in the new year with some of our best friends!
Captured our love with a little Valentines Day photo shoot!
Spontaneously met my whole family in Louisville to watch Purdue play in the Elite Eight! Spoiler: they lost.
Celebrated yet another one of our favorite couples!! It was a wedding filled year!
The second anniversary is celebrated with cotton. I got Josh a pair of socks that say 2 years of awesome and we have only just begun! And he got me the cutest monogrammed tote bag! P.S. this is the same dress I wore to our dress rehearsal <3
It has been such a wonderful year. If you have read about our struggles you know that this year has definitely challenged us, but has only made us fall deeper in love! I can not wait to see what this next year holds for us!
Josh, I love you more and more every day! I cherish you more than you’ll ever know but I will spend my life trying to show you! Thank you for such an incredible second year of marriage! Cheers to year 2 babe!
