4 Tips for Solo Road Trips

I make solo road trips fairly often. With my family being in Indiana, I try to make it to as many things as I can. That being so, I would like to think I have mastered the skill of traveling alone. I have come to share my wisdom with you today!

Solo road trip

Tip #1

Create a road trip playlist. Now, this can be a playlist of many things. Some of my favorites are songs, podcasts, and audiobooks! Anything that keeps the mind entertained for chunks of time! I love me some Spotify!

Tip #2

Pack your favorite snacks and make sure to put them in arms reach! Nothing distracts my mind more than snacks! Who doesn’t love some snacks! Plus, this will help you to stay on the road longer! Be careful of pounding the liquids though.

Tip #3

Call someone and catch up! Nothing will pass the time like a good conversation! Whether it be your mom or your friend you haven’t seen in a while, road trips are a great time to chat!

Tip #4

Plan out your trip. Things always go smoother when you have an idea of when and where you plan to stop. Whether that be to get gas, grab some grub, or just stretch your legs. Having a game plan is ideal!
